Regular Worship Services

Sunday 8am Service :
Come to our one hour service where you can hear a relevant message and have great fellowship time with
raisin toast and coffee before and/or after the service.

Sunday 10am Service:
The 10am service is for the whole family with a great children's program, inspiring worship, a relevant message
and a fresh meal afterwards in the freshwater cafe. A great service for you and your whole family.

Sunday 6pm Service:
The 6pm service is for those who are young at heart. Come on Sunday night for wild praise and worship, to hear a fiery
message and get a fresh meal in the cafe accompanied by live music. What a great way to spend your Sunday evening!

Wednesday 10am Service:
Can't get to church on Sunday, or just love coming? Come along to Freshwater PRIME! Be inspired and blessed
by a great message, worship and praise.

Regular Activities

CREATIVE MINISTRIES
Passionate, heartfelt expression and an attitude of worship are a way of life at Freshwater.
Nowhere is this more evident than in our Creative Arts team, where innovation, experimentation and
new ideas are encouraged, both at church and out in the community. Whether it’s as part of our children’s
ministry, youth band or main church services, you’ll find energetic and inspired music and dance, impacting
dramas and cutting edge sound, multimedia and staging. Give us a call if you would like to speak to someone
about your God given talent.

COFFEE CONNECT
If you love great coffee, cake or a good laugh, join the club! At Freshwater, we believe fellowship and
belonging is an important part of our faith - and that it’s usually best built around a table! That’s why we
have a dedicated church café, because as a large and growing church, we never want to lose that small,
intimate church feel.

CONNECT GROUPS
All over our city there is a growing number of people who meet mid-week in private homes to grow spiritually.

MEN
At Freshwater, we believe all men were born to be strong, decisive leaders but it’s a tough world out there,
and that’s why Freshwater runs an outstanding program to develop and equip men to succeed.
We believe men grow through process so our Men’s University program is offered a three-year course, or
in shorter, more specific courses.
Topics include:
Winning at work and home (10 weeks)
Authentic Manhood (16 weeks)
The Great Adventure (10 weeks)

MaKs PLAYGROUP
Are you a mum, dad or carer with a young child? Are you looking for a child-friendly place to connect, laugh
and build friendships with other parents? Our Freshwater playgroup is run at Brinsmead’s Community hall
for people just like you. They are a great way to get out and about with your child. You can meet people
just like you and just relax and enjoy a coffee while your children play in a safe area under your supervision.

COURSES
*Leadership Academy
Freshwater offers Certificate IV in Ministry over 2 years. A local venue, in a local church with reasonable fees.
This enables you to continue full time employment while studying part time over 2 years. A wonderful
opportunity to grow in God!

*Discover!
This is a journey that will help you discover the tremendous possibilities ahead for you as an individual
and as a part of God’s family. Designed for new Christians or for those wanting a refresher course.

*Family Focus
Relax with your spouse and other great folk, hearing incredibly powerful truths that will refresh and
encourage you as a parent and save you so much time and heartache in the future. Your children will
love you for it. It is a fantastic investment to their lives. Why not book your children into our children's
program - Royal Rangers at the same time. Come along for a 7pm start. For couples or single parents.

FRESHWATER XSTREAM
Freshwater XStream is our children’s program each Sunday morning. It’s a great place where young
people can learn God's word in a fun environment on how to grow into a strong healthy young
person - spirit, soul and body! We have a responsibility to ensure that the next generation wins. We love
the truth that says: “Bring up a child in the way they should go and then they won’t depart from it”. At Freshwater
we don’t baby sit children - we raise and empower the next generation to influence our city and community
for the Kingdom of God.

ROYAL RANGERS
A lively, energetic and Godly outdoors Kids program for 5yo - 13yo. Rangers is a popular program that
runs during the school year each Friday evening 7-8.30pm. Your kids will love it!

FRESHWATER YOUTH
Let me paint the you a picture... Loads of young people chilling together every Saturday night, lovin' life,
epic praise and worship, crazy tribal war games and a message that will change your life!

YOUNG ADULTS - 'Freshwater FUEL'
Catering for the 18-35yo. 'Freshwater FUEL' meets once a month for an inspiring and enriching night out.

WOMEN
*Cherish
Freshwater women are women of class. They are kind, beautiful and passionate, and serious about
supporting each other and making an impact in their community. If you’re looking for new friendships,
new adventures, new things to learn and connecting, you’ll find them all at freshwater women.
We regularly meet together at cafes, email and phone each other to encourage one another, and
we love to get together to plan and run events to let the whole world know of the love of God.

*City Women
City Women is a morning of fun, inspiration for greatness, connection and growth. To enrich and
empower the lives of women by offering a place of friendship, support, prayer, agreement, networking,
education, economic opportunity and goal setting. We are women who extend our hands to the poor
and needy, offering a beacon of light in our world.

*Mission Activate
We class our mission process more as outreach at freshwater, as we desire everybody in our church to
be on a mission not just the missions team. The criteria that these ministeries have to meet is:
Preaching the Gospel
Teaching Biblical skills
Laying on of hands/ miracles ministry
We help 2 locals Outreaches, 3 National Outreaches and 3 International Outreaches.

*ARK'D
ARK stands for Acts of Random Kindness. Ark'd Culture is a biblically relevant and practical way to
live out Christianity in a modern world. It provides an opportunity for everyone to reflect the Christian
faith to a lost and hurting world, in a fun exciting and meaningful way, outside the four walls of the church.

Members of our church have embraced the heart of this concept and decided to step out and be the answer
to our cities needs – through a simple act of random kindness, just one person at a time.
