Rev Bruce Harrison

Bruce grew up in Brisbane and lived there until moving to Mareeba in 1979, where he served the Mareeba Shire as the senior Draftsman for 10 years. It was while living in Mareeba that Bruce married Elizabeth (from North Cairns) and they have 3 adult children, Andrew, Talitha and James. Although growing up in Christian home it was not until on holiday in the USA that Bruce understood the significance of Jesus to the Christian faith. Bruce has now pastored churches in Miles, and Springsure before coming to Gordonvale/Babinda at the beginning of 2009. Bruce spends his relaxing time gardening or bushwalking (he recently climbed Walsh’s Pyramid near Gordonvale) and cheering the Brisbane Lions.
